Bay Bridge Tour |

Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge Tour  | | What is something that will contain 200 million pounds of structural steel, 450,000 cubic yards of concrete and has an expected lifespan of 150 years? The New Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge! Embark on a chance of a lifetime on a wonderful boat-guided tour of the magestic bridge, currently under construction, that we all have heard so much about in the news or in our classes. We will be leaving from the Hearst Mining Circle on Friday, Steptember 10th, at 11:30am. The tour will last approximately 2 hours. Participants are required to wear long pants, as well as hiking boots or work/construction boots. ABSOLUTELY NO ATHLETIC SHOES OR STREET SHOES ALLOWED! Signups are limited to the first 25 people. Already stressed out from the first week of classes? Interested in how CEE's do outdoor activities? Then come out with ASCE as we hike to the Big C and Tightwad Hill this Friday (9/3). Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
Meet at Hearst Memorial Mining Circle at 3:00pm. Trip expected to last until 4:30pm.
